The main challenge was shaping Abia Honey’s rich Nigerian origin story into a clear, premium and market-ready brand position that could resonate with U.S. consumers while still honoring its authenticity, cultural roots and product value. We are developing a strategic go-to-market foundation for Abia Honey that positions the brand as an authentic, Nigerian-sourced raw honey rooted in quality, culture, and traceability. This includes refining the brand story around its Abia State origin, clarifying how the product should be positioned for U.S. consumers, identifying the ideal audience, shaping the brand voice, and building the practical launch structure needed to enter the market confidently. We are also mapping out key business and retail-readiness steps such as company registration, GS1 barcodes, SKU creation, packaging direction, product naming, label messaging, pricing considerations, and the brand’s overall storytelling so Abia Honey can move from idea to a credible, market-ready consumer product.
